The safety of women had always been a key concern in India. In Andhra Pradesh too, the concern had been given importance by the government. The safety of women had become more essential while they use the internet. Respecting the safety of women and their empowerment, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had launched an online portal on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. The web portal 4s4u.appolice.gov.in had aimed at guiding women for keeping themselves safe. In addition, it educated them about filing complaints in the case of a cybercrime. Two Programs Launched for Protecting and Assisting Women Notably, two programs were launched by Mr. Reddy for helping the women of Andhra Pradesh. As a part of the first program, financial assistance was provided to women for at least 4 years. This had been done via YSR Cheyutha as well as YSR Asara. They were launched after two months.
