Jagan Mohan Reddy: Staying Calm is Essential in Coronavirus Situation

 



Some months ago, the rising number of coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh had been creating stress and fear among people. CM Jagan Mohan Reddy was also anguished by the same. Creating awareness among the people of his state to not panic or live in extreme fear, he stated that staying calm was the need of the situation. In addition, he also expressed that those people who had been infected should not be stigmatized.

 

Encouraging People to Get Tested and Not Panic


The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh had opined that due to the participation in the Nizamuddin Markaz that happened in New Delhi, the increase in the cases may have happened. According to him, as least 70 people among the 87 infected ones had participated in it. Speaking further, 1085 people had gone to the Nizamuddin Markaz and 585 of them were tested later. The results of 70 people showed that they had contracted the virus. While the other people who also attended the gathering were being tested, some of them were being traced.


Andhra Pradesh's CM also requested the people returning from Delhi to be sure of contracting the virus by being tested. He encouraged them stating that medical aid was within reach if 104 was dialed. With the help of the staff of the village secretariat, multiple volunteers, and Asha workers, the houses were being surveyed to look for people having the symptoms hinting at the COVID-19 virus. 


Andhra Pradesh's CM Jagan Mohan Reddy had expressed that even when some people believed that they were experiencing the symptoms, they did not have to worry. By staying calm and opting for medical care, the health issue could be managed and healed. With the help of home quarantine too, the recovery could be initiated.

The coronavirus situation and the rising number of cases had indeed introduced fear and panic among people. As the CM of Andhra Pradesh believed, staying calm was essential. Additionally, getting checked and treated on time were also required for taming the situation and the cases.

  In the female population, elderly women have to face financial problems as many of them are unable to earn a living easily.
